Kingdom of dreams the Culture Gully and Nautanki Mahal auditorium is India's first live entertainment, theatre and leisure destination. It is situated in Sector 29, Gurgaon in NCR Delhi, near the Leisure Valley Park. It is Spread over 6 acres (24,000 m2) and built at a cost of over Rs. 2 billion, and is run by the Great Indian Nautanki Company (GINC), a joint venture between Apra Group and Wizcraft. Kingdom of dreams was inaugurated on 29 January 2010 by the former Chief Minister of Haryana Bhupinder Singh Hooda and opened to public on 18 September 2010 by Union Minister of Tourism, Kumari Selja.

History

Bollywood actor Shah Rukh Khan was named the global ambassador of Kingdom of Dreams on 19 September 2010.[5][6] The 2010 Commonwealth Games' official theme song, Jiyo Utho Bado Jeeto by composer A R Rahman was launched in the complex on 28 August 2010, with a performance by Rahman, accompanied by dance performances by Hussain Kuwajerwala, Gauhar Khan and Kashmira Irani, on the theme of Zangoora - The Gypsy Prince.

  • Nautanki Mahal is the best attraction of this place as it is the most hi-tech auditorium in India, with a seating capacity of 835 people. This state of the art auditorium is designed like a grand palace and stages larger than life Indian and International theatrical productions. The auditorium provides a hydraulic stage, a state-of-the-art matrix sound system and automated fly bars, making the theatre experience real, like,if there’s a restaurant scene in the show, you would be able to smell the food’s smell! Other than this Culture Gully is also a attractive point here which features the arts, crafts and food boulevard at the Kingdom of Dreams. This air-conditioned boulevard is spread across 100,000 sq. ft., with theme restaurants and live kitchens from 14 states of India, represented in full vibrancy and grandeur with their representative architecture and decor.

One can even enjoy a show at Showshaa Theatre is a recently opened, 350-seater covered amphitheater. Other than these all there is one more enjoyable place inside the auditorium the IIFA Buzz, a Bollywood-themed resto-bar, is located on the first floor of Culture Gully.
